Ninety years of this mountain, and most of it is in shoeboxes and phone rolls that nobody has ever put together. Send us what you have — a photograph, a film, a season pass, or just the memory written down. No account. No sign-in. It takes a couple of minutes.
You're entered in the September 30 drawing. Charley reads every one of these himself, so it may be a few days before what you sent turns up on The Peoples Page.
See The Peoples PageNo purchase necessary. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or to win, and a purchase will not improve your chances.
Sponsor. Showdown Montana ("Showdown"), Kings Hill, Neihart, Montana.
Who may enter. Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 or older at the time of entry. Showdown Montana employees and their families are eligible to enter — the draw uses a published, repeatable method that nobody can steer. Void where prohibited.
Entrants must be 18 or older. Photographs and film may of course include children — parents are welcome to send pictures of their kids; it is the person entering who must be an adult.
How to enter. Send photographs, film, audio, documents, or your own written memories of Showdown Montana through the form on this page. Everyone who submits is entered. If you sent something in before these rules were posted, you are already entered and need do nothing further.
One entry per person, however much you send. Sending more material does not improve your chances of winning — though it does help the archive, which is the point of the whole thing.
A signed media release is required. An entry is eligible only if we hold your signed Media Release Agreement — that is the box you check on this form. If you sent material to us some other way, we will ask you to sign one; an entry with no signed release on file by the entry deadline is not eligible.
Entry period. Entries must reach us by 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
The drawing. Three names are drawn at random from all eligible entries on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, when entries close at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time. Winners are announced the following day, Thursday, October 1, 2026, on Showdown Montana's social media. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The draw uses a published, repeatable method: the order is generated from a seed announced beforehand, so anyone can re-run it afterwards and check the result.
The prizes.
Prizes are not redeemable for cash and may not be exchanged for another prize. Any taxes are the winner's responsibility.
How winners are reached. Winners are contacted at the email address given with their entry within three days of the drawing. If a winner cannot be reached, or does not respond within 14 days, that prize passes to the next name drawn. Prizes are shipped, or held for collection at the will-call desk at Shed-Quarters.
Publicity. Winners' names may be announced on Showdown Montana's website and social media.
Not a Meta promotion. This drawing is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or Meta. Anything you send goes to Showdown Montana and not to Meta, and by entering you release Meta from any responsibility for the drawing.
Governing law. These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Montana.
